This policy describes how Floating Crypto handles information related to public market quotes, local preferences, and Picture in Picture. Using the app means you understand the practices below. If you do not, stop using the app.

What we collect

Floating Crypto does not offer accounts and does not sell personal data. Preferences stay on your device. Showing quotes makes ordinary network requests to public market-data providers.

System permissions this product does not use

This version does not use weather, GPS, Calendar, Reminders, or Apple Music / Now Playing, and it does not ask for Location, Calendar, Reminders, or media-library permission.

Network and market data

When quotes are on, the device requests public market APIs. Those providers typically see your IP address and standard HTTP metadata — the usual cost of fetching anything from the internet, not a separate sale by this app. Quotes are for display only. They are not investment advice.

What appears in Picture in Picture

The quotes you choose are rendered into a system Picture in Picture window. Anyone who can see that screen can see those quotes. The app does not upload them to a Floating Crypto server. This version has no such backend.

What appears on Dynamic Island, Live Activity, and widgets

Dynamic Island, Live Activity, and Home/Lock widgets render the same last quote already on the device. They do not collect extra data and are not uploaded to a Floating Crypto server.

Silent audio and the background

While Picture in Picture is open, the app starts a silent audio session so the window can keep updating in the background. Nothing audible is played, and no audio is collected. The session uses UIBackgroundModes: audio with a zero-volume buffer. It exists only to keep Picture in Picture alive. It is not a music player and it is not used for tracking.

Analytics and tracking

This version does not include third-party advertising or tracking SDKs, and it does not use data to track you across apps.

How we use information

• To run the app: show quotes and cast them to Picture in Picture
• Not used for: ad targeting, data brokerage, selling personal data, or investment advice

Retention

• Preferences stay on the device (for example in UserDefaults)
• Uninstalling the app usually deletes those preferences with it
• Third-party quote services keep their own request logs under their own policies

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13.

Your choices

• You can close Picture in Picture or leave the related flow at any time
• You can stop using the app at any time
